gOOD morning Barbara, Sandra and ChloeB and everyone else. No problems getting here since last night's outage. Thanks for that clip Barbara..I've never heard of/seen that fish before. It's one of those times when eating it starts away from the mouth and further down the body..wise move ;-) Wonder what happened to the mouth end?

We have just witnessed the most incredible situation unfolding on the Dyfi nest. Dulas and Leri were fighting over a flounder that Monty had just brought in when they got tangled up, Leri had her talons in Dulas and turned him over, after five minutes, for all the world he looked dead – so much so I rang volunteer Al Davies to go over to the nest and untangle both birds and remover the dead corpse.

Have people ever thought what osprey think about diving into water? I know they like it when they catch a fish but do you think they enjoy the diving?
Well they dive into water to have baths don't they? So presumably they do enjoy it to some extent. I imagine it is all so natural to them that they do it as a matter of course, perhaps without thinking too much about it.
Yes maybe it is a bit like doing the dishes. Not nice to but to do but one likes the result.
