Tiger is back in north London tonight and so can start threads again. Having been to the home of ospreys everything takes on much more meaning.
Tore reaches 72 days today. Rothes migrated at 79 days so the end may be quite close. However I hasten to add that other chicks have hung on for as long as 97 days in recent times.

A belated Happy Birthday to you for yesterday Daisy Ray. What a nuisance that the washing machine packed up though. Sounds like you have had a good evening nonetheless.
I think EJ would like Tore to join her for the fish supper too
YES, Daisy Ray, just about recovered and a very Happy Belated Birthday to you and although you say the washing machine packed up at least you got your glasses of wine in - thats the priority. Hope the WM is sorted soon, nothing worse that it full of soapy water when it goes wrong, I've been there.
Hi Moffer, yes EJ still on the nest looking alert and with the remains in her talons. Will she take it off to eat elsewhere or is she waiting for one of the juves to come and finish it off.

Thanks.
The washing machine can be replaced. Those poor Norwegians can't be. I have to see the big picture . . always.

Even Odin!!! I'm sure he was alarm calling a while back. Since then EJ hasn't eaten a morsel. She's hotched the fish around so that she can see out better.
EJ is standing so still holding the fish that I thought my screen had frozen. Is she waiting for the young uns?
Loch Garten stats. and All the important links for LG.
