Tiger is back in north London tonight and so can start threads again. Having been to the home of ospreys everything takes on much more meaning.
Tore reaches 72 days today. Rothes migrated at 79 days so the end may be quite close. However I hasten to add that other chicks have hung on for as long as 97 days in recent times.

Hi folks, finally have managed to come on and post. Been busy with the Kids Week at church and had all the housework to catch up on today - well done some of it anyway.
See that EJ has brought in a "whale" and it looks like Tore is tucking in with great gusto. No sign of Bynack so presumably he has had something to eat. Will catch up on all the posts now.

I was in the kitchen washing parsley ;-) But heard the noise and luckily I'd left the recorder running.
Now I'll just leave it recording and if anyone sees anything extra-interesting happen, let me know and I'll extract it later :-)
I have found a little program that will paste "Courtesy of RSPB etc" on the titles for me, am over the moon ;-)
I'm going to leave videos until next year. Don't want to overload they OLD grey matter LOL
I'm sat sitting ere trying to get a shot of his leg ring. Ooo I got it :o)
Scylla, Hello; and hello to everyone.
Did you see that Bynack has tried at least 3 times since taking the fish from EJ to fly away with it?
The first time he almost fell off the nest but the fish was so heavy it stayed put. Then he really screamed at the fish and tried again. And then again. he has decided it's best to stay where he is for now. I think he would prefer to have flown away with it.
Bynack has flown off, full up and EJ has returned. Night cam on.
Bynack had enough and flew away after noticing another bird [EJ?] flying by.
EJ now has it, anyway.
Hello Daisy, Lynette and everyone else. Its been fun watching Bynack claim this fish even though he has had quite a struggle with it.
EJ must have been watching nearby
