Night cam still on. All is quiet except for the the odd faint call. It's windy.
Loch Garten stats. and All the important links for LG.
Bynack is getting better at that high pitched call. He sounds more like Odin every day.
Surely a winner in the Untidiest Nest competition!

This seems to be their favourite perch this morning
Reminds me of a joke:
Two birds on a perch. One says to the other:
"Can you smell fish?" .....
ospreys away.
Two siskins having breakfast on one of the feeders by the Osprey Centre:
empty tree syndrome!
Right, I've got to finish my packing and head off later for two weeks' holiday!
I'll leave someone to do the honours now....
Only 1 week to go before I get to see the ospreys 'for real' at Loch Garten :-)
Well maybe one more! One bird on the branch below the nest:
Right, that's it. Goodbye all
Thanks Robert the Bruce for the "One Man report Team" this morning . The wind will give them some good landing practice. As demanding as Bynack is for constant meals I won't be surprise to read that he tried fishing for himself :)

Evening all: Currently very breezy at LG with nary an osprey in sight.
Moffer, don't believe I've had the pleasure of "meeting" you, but thanks very much for starting us off today. I'm usually on here of an evening (California time), but family visiting so a bit off-schedule right now.
RtB: Sorry I missed you; have a lovely holiday!
Sorry can't stick around folks; very tired here.
