Hallo all. It's a brand new week!
Annette - I've looked - I know I'm just being 'thick' but : I end up here
http://www.natuxo.com/xalbai-thumbnails-search.html
And I can't find Xalbai's profile anywhere !!
Sigh, I'll try again tomorrow in the bright light of a new day.
Oh, OK Sue, very many thanks.
No, it's just me being thick. I can't find the picture dated 12/08/09 and titled "perchoir a balbu"........
Is this online or on one of the forums? It's certainly not under the forum Xalbai's photos of Mallachie
But I can't find it online either. I give up until tomorrow. Just can't understand myself..

Am so pleased that you pointed out the English version otherswise we would have had to ask you to translate - but your English is very very good. Thank you.
Annette, how about hiring one of the chefs that come into your house and cook for you???? That would be great I think
Cirrus, Let's try that again.........
1. do a Google search on "Xalbai".
2. For me, the first 2 results relate to the RSPB site. The next result is for the Natuxo site, with an address ending xalbai-profile-2361.html. That's the one to select.
3. Once you're into Xalbai's profile on Natuxo, click on the words "click to see all uploads by xalbai".
Gary: Like your idea (almost as good as going out to eat).
Diane: I bought a couple of T-towels (dish cloths to US folk). One of them reads: My favorite thing to make for dinner is reservations. Don't want to get that dirty, either, do I?
To change the subject: Does anyone this side of the pond ever listen to Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me on NPR? We're going to the live show this evening. It'll be interesting to see how they distill that hour of hilarity from an evening's worth of live entertainment.
Apologies. I have deleted some web addresses from this post which were in breach of copyright.
Adelaide 8 am (Friday - again, already, so soon ?!!) Yesterday I wore rain jacket, huh, it turned out to be a fine sunny day, blue skies, fluffy white clouds. Last night's weather forecaster threatened us with gales, thunder, hail, minor flooding in hills, expected max today 15 C (59 F) - - - and to cap it off, snow on Mount Lofty. I point out that on the rare occasions that snow falls, it melts before it hits the ground. So far this morning the sky is overcast & dull. Yes, auntie, temperatures are relative. We moan about the cold, but it is not really compared places closer to the poles than us. Many years ago when our daughter was going to Germany as an exchange student in December/January, I bought her the thickest warmest coat I could find here. Pff, her new German friend said, so thin.
Disconnected thoughts or delayed responses - Recently I passed a shop displaying front doormats. One was inscribed "Selling something? - try the neighbours".
Hey AQ: Are you off to catch the bus again? My daughter used to have a doormat that read Go Away.
Annette: I LOVE "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me"! I wish I was going with you. Have a great time. What fun!
