Hallo all. It's a brand new week!

  • Just put few photos on MyPage (taken from the ospreycamera in Seili Island, Finland) but one of them seems to blank, and I don`t know how to take it away. :(

But now I must get ready for work, so have a nice day all!

  • Thanks for interesting photos from the osprey camera in Finland, auntie. You can usually delete photos by clicking onto the picture itself, then looking above the picture at the top left, you should see 'edit' & 'delete' in blue- click on one of these. Hope this helps.

Sunny here but not so warm now. Dry weather & settled predicted for most of the British Isles for the next few days.

  • Diane in Indiana I was a bit worried after I had posted that comment as I might have offended you.  Things might seem bad sometimes but I am sure you will get sorted in your own time.  Lack of money is the source of so many problems but as long as we are fit and healthy we will get through.

  • Good morning auntie and what wonderful photos.  So clear as well.  I am always pleased to see photos of ospreys.  I have fallen completely in love with them, just can't get over what wonderful birds they are.  Have a good day.

  • Sandy I had a similar experience with my ISP as I received a message saying I was approaching my monthly limit. When I phoned them about this ,as I thought I was on an unlimited package I was told that my limit was set at 10mb but when I told them I was paying for the unlimited package they told me they had been overcharging me £9 a month as on their system I was on a10mb packageand should have been paying a lower tarrif. It seem that if you don't keep tabs on them they will try anything. As the ospreys had left by the time I discovered this I will stay on my 10mb at the moment and when they return I can then up to an unlimited package.

  • Hi everyone. I have not had any problems with my broadband and speeds are good as not too far from a telephone exchange. IR need fast and reliable broadband.

Thunderdog Hamish has fallen asleep in the sun.

    Weather is sunny and warm.

    Temp 14.9c , Wind W 11mph , Visibilty 30 kms , Pressure 1026 hPa rising.

  • Hello Alan It so quiet at the moment on the blogs.  As a rule when I switch on for my afternoon session I have a lot of update emails but yours is the only one.

Like you I do not have any trouble with Broadband.  Used to be with BT which was not too good but switched to Sky a few months ago and the service is excellent.

I have posted a link below which you might find interesting at some point.  It is a traditional rutting stand in the New Forest and from the end of September to mid-October there should be lots of action.  It will also give you the weather here in this part of the country.  I only live a few miles from the New Forest and often visit.

Hope Hamish is enjoying his snooze in the sun.

  • Thanks for the link Margobird. It is quiet this afternoon. I think everyone is out enjoying the sunshine. Hamish has had his walk and is resting. I think i will go and make a cup of tea and sit outside for a while. The garden is incredibly dry. No significant rain for about 3 weeks now. Trouble is once it starts it wont stop.

  • Alan you are right about the lack of rain although we had a couple of hours very light rain last evening but not enough to do any good for the garden.  Shouldn't complain though because as you say once it starts if won't know when to stop.  Enjoy your cup of tea sitting in the sun.
