So, 8 fish yesterday!! The last being delivered at 2337/8(ish) !!! Odin the Magnificent indeed!
As Tiger says "What will today bring" ....
Good morning all and well done Odin, 8 fish yesterday. Thanks to all for the pics and to scylla for captuirng Tore's lift off moment. I agree with Tiger that this site has so many nice people who keep us well up to date with observations and pics so that we can catch up every day. Saw a fish when I first logged in and it seems as though EJ would like another one as she has been calling again. Odin must think his work is never done but it is thanks to him that we have 2 very healthy juveniles who at times are so stuffed they decline anymore. As I have been so behind I wondered if EJ had been fishing again, I believe I read she caught one last week. Dry on the nest at the moment and EJ away while Tore and Bynack preen and call I think, or perhaps EJ is on the post. Think they will get some rain today as it seems we are all promised some. Just looked at the cam again and think it was EJ calling and she has now flown off. Have a good day all,.off to finish my diary now.

EJ keeps flying on and off the nest and Tore watching with great interest. Do you think she is giving flying lessons? Mind you she is still calling to Odin so perhaps she's just been chasing him up!
EJ is very fidgity (sp/word?) at the moment. On and off the nest at regular intervals. Tweens wondering what Mum is up to. I think she keeps bringing in bits of twig/lichen, but nothing substantial.

I wonder if odin has brought in as many fish this year as last? Have these two chicks had as much to eat as the three last year?

EJ still calling hope Odin is fishing again as I don't think she will be giving it up at the moment.
Morning Tiger Odin had delivered 260 fish I think at the begiining of last week so that figure has obviously increased now. As to whether he had delivered more than last year it would take some time to read through all the posts for the same time last year.
EJ is still standing on the nest ... calling for fish. The two young ones are preening and fussing ... and lazing around!

Thank you Margo. I forgot that we had a representative on the ground!
Tore and Bynack never appear to be ravenous when a fish is brought to the nest. They were very patient when the earlier fish arrived and EJ just stood with it under her foot.
Off she goes again. A wing-hug from Bynack to Tore. EJ returns with a chirrup, or should that read nag?
