Welcome to a new week. Check back to last week's chat for news. Linda is spending weekend with Tomasz. Annette has been told to slow down . . . by Brenda who sounds just as busy! Alan has been wandering shops again.
I'm woo hoo - ing here, too, Diane! Safe journey to them All, and home again safe, later.
DIANE: What am I doing wrong? I'm on that streaming video link for Trucker Steve but it's the same recorded video from last night.....
EDIT: Huh; seems to have updated itself....!
I've had my wrist slapped. Oh well. And off to work I go
Hello
Thank you for your contributions to the RSPB community. Unfortunately we have had to remove an image from your post on the below thread as under our terms and conditions it states that all material must be your own and not subject to any copyright infringements. (T’s andC’s here www.rspb.org.uk/.../terms.aspx )
As the Loch of the Lowes webcam is SWT, we cannot have images from their webcam on the forum.

Please feel free to link to any images, webcams or blogs that cover the osprey story but posting images from the site is not allowed.
We look forward to seeing you on the forums.
Best wishes
RSPB moderating team.
No surprises there. SWT forbade posting captures or video footage early in the season Cirrus, so RSPB had no choice but to delete it. A great shame.
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
SWT are the only ones losing by their ridiculous policy so I would not worry about it Cirrus.
Agree Alan. They have done themselves no favours at all.
I seem to be doing everything at the last minute because I am quite confused and not sure what I should be doing, because every time I think I know, something changes! Have caught up with correspondence now – except I must reply to Annette’s recent email - I haven’t forgotten! OH went in shopping in the morning and called to collect my medications from the pharmacy who pick up the prescription from the doctors’ surgery – not there and surgery say it has been signed but is lost, so he had to collect a replacement! Good job I allowed plenty of time to get it before holiday – I put in the request last Tuesday!!
QW – lovely name for a lovely Pup. Agree with you about NOTW – never read it, but I thought it was full of sensationalist junk, from the way it was marketed and quoted in legal cases etc!
Diane – Steve’s streaming cam doesn’t work for me (incidentally, neither could I watch shuttle lift off this afternoon). All that new life from the Wasp Queen – amazing! Can’t imagine cutting up that tree in the current heat – do be careful. Awful about derailment on the Big Blue River Bridge – but as you say could have been much worse with passenger cars – hope they can minimise pollution from cargo.
Annette – bike rode to lake of the sheep sounds very pleasant. Will be ordering blanket bars on internet, so will be after hol – but did get more comfortable for most of last night, so more refreshed when I woke up this morning. Now need to work on sleep/wake routine to fit in with sensible breakfast schedule whilst away!
Tiger – thanks for Pale Male chicks’ good news – best news story this year!
Lindy – hope your Friend has a really lovely cruise – she deserves it. Sorry no valuables, but worth checking. Fresh peas – lovely – think our first ones will fill while we are away – and have to eat three courgettes before we go!!
Brenda – hope you and OH had a good time out today.
Margo – we have cut down to once-a-day feeding too – put it out at night ready for the dawn chorus, and most of the feeders have some left into the early evening. It should only be “supplementary feeding” anyway, - no good having them dependent on it when we are away about once a month through summer months. Next week hol starts Tuesday till following Tuesday.
Chloe – love birds, but couldn’t cope with Swallow nest in the kitchen – must be very smelly and unhygienic!
Gary – HI! Please do something about our Toffee-withdrawal symptoms!
Cirrus – RSPB were quickly on the case for the copyright infringement – but they need to avoid legal confrontation with SWT. A warning to others.
Alan/Chloe – SWT have a lot of catching up to do in PR! Going to a local SWT Dragonfly day tomorrow – need to keep ears open and mouth shut!
Back later.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Afternoon all ... haven't been on here for a couple of days ... been feeling 'yucky'! I felt a bit better yesterday evening, but then rotten again this morning... think I picked up a bug :-((
Not making many replies ... just what I can remember.
A lovely puppy called Lucy belonging to Quietwoman.
OG's cleaner didn't turn up, and there was a problem with dinner!
Diane mentioned a train crash ... will look later ... and sorry you are still so stressed and using sweary words!
Gary appeared ... hello Gary!!
That's all for now ... my brain isn't in gear and the words are starting to swim on the screen :-((
EDIT - I did manage to watch the Shuttle launch ... brilliant. (That was what got me out of bed!)
Joan - avid bird and nature watcher in Northumberland!

OG - you posted while I was writing - glad you were more comfortable last night. I had to get a cage thing for my dad's bed ... he hated the weight on his feet ... even a light duvet bothered him. He had no more bother once it was in place.
Joan, Sorry you are feeling so bad. Do take care and I hope you soon feel better.
