Happy Sunday folks!
Jan, my head exploded trying to understand that!!!
Like the thought of the birds meeting up, as you put on the main blog
I clicked on "adiabatically" in Alan's post about wet blubs and got a message telling me "The website declined to show this webpage." And can we blame it? Maybe it's best not to know.
Back from LA, exhausting ride back. Walked in door and found hubby still battling with mismatching floor tiles...
Annette, why not start a new fashion - mismatching decor LOL. Glad to see you back safely.
Hey AQ: I think they call that decor "eclectic" ! :-)
Hey Annette, how about using the mis-matches to put a hopscotch design in the middle of the floor????? That'd really be a talking point, and kids would love it! ;-)
Smiles, Jan.
Annette, are you having to start again with the tiles are are you coming to a resolution? (Sorry, don't answer if this will send you into a "tile frenzy") LOL
Welcome back from you trip, hope it went OK
Morning all. So, Rothes still hard at it in France and Mallachie exploring Portuguese options. So far, so good. Wondering how long Rothes will stick around but she must clearly figure no point in wearing herself out while she's onto a good thing!
Anyone seen TIsh (back from vacation?) and Maureen and Soosin? Also, don't see Cirrus around. Hope all are okay.
Gary: We're about to send all the tiles back: Got sample with little variation; first batch arrived and with definite "pattern" not apparent in sample. Not a real problem until tile dude realized he hadn't ordered enough. Second batch arrived (much lighter toned and creamy); third batch arrived (some gold; some pinkish). Can't make it work, especially with "pattern". Main contractor coming this morning and will try to tell us it's just fine and what are we worried about....
Trip in old truck was great: Eldest daughter of that family cried "good" tears as she put it, to see it since it brought back lots of memories. The 20-something granddaughter asked me if she could sit in it and immediately trilled, "It smells just the same!" Then perched on the seat where, she told me, she always sat as a little kid when her grandpa took her out for hamburgers. So nice memories for them.
Soosin - are you there? I've put a comment on your page to let you know Roy Dennis will be in Wigtown 28th September.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
New Blog from Alice.
what a lovely thing about the truck Annette:)
Sorry about the tiles. Sounds a right pain. make sure those guys don't fob you off.
Back to the drawing board then. I have no idea what your colour scheme is but I like brown a lot!! LOL
