Well there's been drama and domestic bliss during the day. We saw a delightful scene where Odin brought in a fish, not sure what to do with it as EJ was off the nest but then proceeded to feed the chicks, flew off with it then returned and carried on, all rather bizarre but he completed the task.
Not sure how many fish were delivered but all seem satisfied.
Pic coming up of night scene at present
Happy viewing and keep us informed as usual to all our late night owls both here and abroad.

Yes I think they will be naming them when they ring/tag them. As with other years we will have a learning curve to learn to call them by their real names :)
I think EJ needs to rest her feet and sit in the tree near the nest .
Furthermore, there is no space for the chicks to do wing exercises if she is on the nest too.
Plus if EJ is there Storm will just want to snuggle under her and not do any wing exercises .
EJ not being on the nest so much may be a little tough love for Storm .

Ah, I thought it was dust - how can that be when it's been so wet? I thought :|
IMAGICAT
Storm really is a long way behind, I feel sure more than 5 days, fledging-wise. (From the mouths of babes ;) ;-D )
If it's tough love, they don't seem to be complaining - ah - did I just see someone fly by the nest? Hmmm, apparently not.
scylla, I think Star is ahead in development and Storm is a bit behind, so that is why there appears to be such a difference in skills.
OK well, it's going on for 10:30 here and no fish yet. Chicks still alone and preening (again!). I stayed up too late last night, so heading off now. Have a lovely Sunday all. G'night.
Goodnight Annette :)
Our chicks are going to be amongst the best groomed in Scotland ;)
She's up to no good! Phew! I thought she was going over the wall :o
I reckon she frightened herself so has come back to snuggle up to sib ;)
I think it was Storm!
'Fraid I can't wait any longer for a fish :( See you all later, during what looks like it may be a quite nice day ;)
Whew! EJ's barricade was high enough .
