Odin won't get any rest today

Good morning all and I am back but not really in the land of the living at the moment. Have had to go to the doctor this morning as my chest is really bad and I obviously need antibiotics which I now have. Thanks for the reports and pics so far and three fish already, well done to Odin. I had a marvellous time and will start a new thread to post my observations over the next few days. LG is beautiful even in the rain and as WendyB remarked I was like a child in a sweet shop when I got my first look at Odin in the flesh. We all know he is one very handsome osprey but he is just magnificent with that wonderful white chest. Star and Storm seemed to grow everytime I saw them but with all the fish that he has delivered it is no wonder. EJ pretty magnificent too, trying to keep those huge chicks dry in the rain that was thrown at them. Not many views of the nest bathed in sunshine, quite a lot of rain over the week. Will go into more detail when I post my blog for the week. Will probably call the thread I start "The Dream That Came True". Had a shock when I logged in as the automated email system had started to work while I was awaty and I had nearly 2,000 emails which are going to take ages to delele. When I feel better than I do today will make a start on my diary for the week, tried to write to I could read it and on looking it is not too bad.
Margobird
Welcome home! Margobird It's lovely to have you back and am thrilled that you had a wonderful time, but so sorry you've got a chest infection. Lots of time out-doors in the damp didn't help, I expect :( When you do your blog, I'd be ever so grateful if you'd post a link here cos I'm sure not to find it otherwise. Thanks so much for checking in today. Hope you get better very pronto! :-*
Thanks to everyone for the pics and fish alerts this morning, and thanks to Alex for the clear pics of the Gems' head-markings - as said, now we only need them to keep still for us ;-D
Here's a 3-minute clip of EJ getting up for a bio-flight during the night - she was looking quite ruffled up.

Thank You very much M Lake for answering my earlier post. I checked through all my bird books but they didnt have any photos of a moor hen standing up, I have wondered often what the bird was, only ever saw it the once, so dont know how it arrived in our back garden. Will go check my books now to find out a little bit more on them. I really appreciate your reply.
Thanks all for your photos and observations, good for Odin he is fishing well today. Have been out this morning and wont be around for a while, will catch up when I get back.
Welcome Back Margobird, so glad you had a nice time at Loch Garten, sorry to hear you got a chest infection though, the weather has been all over the place so its not surprising, hope your antibiotics work soon.
