All quiet on the nest:
Enjoy your day Rachel - sounds lovely!
Storm decided to play mother and got herself into trouble with the brushy branch that EJ brought in. Now Star is trying to put things to rights.
Morning Rachel and enjoy your day, sounds fab - I have never seen an Avocet for real therefore I am soooo envious.
Nice photos Cirrus - what YOU miss a fish delivery - NEVER!!
EJ is thinking what is keeping Odin, does he have a bit on the side somewhere LOL....
PS: I have never seen a spoonbill either come to think of it, you are SO lucky...

Morning all ... thanks for pics and posts. It seems to be furniture moving day on the nest. When I logged on Star was moving a twiggy branch and having learned a thing or three from EJ promptly dumped it on Storm!! EJ is now removing the branch!

Enjoy your day Rachel! We saw avocets several times last week at Cresswell, and spoonbills at Druridge Pools, East Chevington ... and Ashington!!
Oh, so that's what happened JOAN. Thanks for that (re Star and twiggy branch)
Hello! a sunny nest greets me today, and all is sleepy on the nest except for the vigilant EJ of course:
A nice domestic scene - EJ is resting her feet, and preening, while the chicks stir a little, and mutter in their sleep...
EJ is looking around for Odin saying where's my FISH!!!!!
Morning LindyBird!!!
Two headless chicks - both in preening mode
