Attempting to start off new thread - it may be successful it may not but will give it a go as Tiger won't be doing it tonight.
At least 5 fish if not more were delivered yesterday. A lot better day weatherwise.
Family seem contented but there was a bit of drama with Storm ending up like an upturned beetle at one point in the day.

EJ is hauling in branches and doing some serious barricade reinforcements . She is not taking any chances there will be a chick overboard
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
Oh well, one last pic, I couldn't resist it when I saw the stick that EJ brought back.
IMAGICAT
Now where am I going to put this nice big stick (she has it in her mouth!)
Great closeup Scylla!
OK guys. I'm calling it a night. One fish so far - a smallish one - EJ clearly waiting for the second course to show up.
G'night Barbara and Scylla; everyone else have a lovely day.
It sounds like it is raining. EJ is sheltering them. The chick are so happy to be under Mum after sleeping alone last night they are not even wiggling :)
EDIT: Star got up to preen a bit, but Storm is not moving. it is just enjoying being under EJ. The baby is not ready to be grown up .
Thanks to everyone on the nightshift for keeping us updated on the happenings overnight. What a wonderful mum EJ is spreading herself out to cover her weans.

Thank you to Lynette for successfully starting us off :) and all on the night watch team (Heron, Scylla, Barbara Jean, Annette) for a brilliant job at recording every moment! No stone (or should that be moss or twig) has been left unturned! When I logged on EJ was doing an amazing job at trying to shelter her young!!
EJ rocks!! She then needed to properly stretch her wings and went for a quick comfort break. She's now standing on one leg preening! And for her next trick ...?
So, one fish so far ...
Thank you very much for the overnight pictures and comments. Scylla, I can't believe that you were still awake at 5.49am.
All are waiting and preening
Morning all ... thanks for great pics and posts! Family preening session in progress in the sun just now.
