Another new week. I wonder what surprises it will bring?

I thought that Michael Schumacher challenging for the lead in a Grand Prix was the most exciting thing I have seen in a while. I did not think I would see that happen again.
What has happened to the text? It appear much larger, although as I type this reply the text in this box is just the same. It will certainly make it easier for my old eyes to read, so thank you who ever is responsible!

Still drizzling here after the heavy rain yesterday and overnight. OH's sister in W. Sussex has a Met Office rain gauge in her garden, which she reports back to them each morning. From 9am yesterday to 9am this morning, the gauge read 32.1 mm. ( 1.26 inches ). So still plenty more rain needed although I know that many parts of the country had higher readings.
Wendy, Thanks for this morning's news of Margo. I can see that nest watching could be very tiring for her and feeling so cold as well. I am sure she is enjoying the experience though.
Linda, Thanks for the monday smiles. I had a chuckle.
Right, I must go and watch the tennis now.
Brenda I sent you a PM with interesting news! :)
OOooer! Much easier to read, this new type! hope it continues.....
Watching the Murray match now, as its just begun. I always get caught up in the Grand Prix F1 as my menfolk are all still keen watchers, but must admit that I don't find it as thrilling now that the cars all seem to be much the same. Not as many gripping 'personalities' amongst the drivers either.
Its still rather damp here, but not raining, so hoping its going to clear up - its much warmer thank goodness. Hope our margo is not too cold up at LG.
TIGER Will try to find that book, thank you. Love Loch an Eilean as did Fingal our Goldie who was put to sleep over 4 years ago. We scattered his ashes there.
SHEILA yes, Mum and Bro live about 15 miles fron Edn in Glasgow direction. Bro worked for company originally Marconi and finally British Aerospace based in Fife. Company had contract for Nimrod simulator for many years but lost it about 3 years ago and Bro and the team were made redundant. His work was in a very niche market and he was 50 so finding new work prived difficult. Luckily he enjoys what he does now. He is part time working with early stage Alzheimers so goes golfing and bowling and other activities with the people he supports. You can imagine it makes him livid that the people who are meant to support Mum seem to think they can neglect their duties.

LoL - I hadn't even noticed we'd lost our signatures. Thought the tone of the ''notice'' a little abrupt !! But mine not to wonder why - just grateful we have a live streaming video cam.
Afternoon all ... much better day here today ... rained most of Saturday and then started again yesterday afternoon! The gardens are looking much better for it though. Not doing much today, just pottering ... OH is working all week, so time for me to catch up on things. Lots of birds around this morning ... two goldfinches have been here quite regularly for the last week, and I saw a male greenfinch for the first time in ages. This pic of the goldfinches was taken through the conservatory window, so not terribly clear.
dibnlib - sorry to read about the problems for you and your brother re your mum. It is never easy in situations like that, and particularly so when you don't live close by. My mum was suffering from dementia, and dad couldn't manage her at home, so we found her a place in a lovely home. Unfortunately she got ill and died soon after ... but looking back, it was probably a blessing in disguise.
Its great to know margo is ok on her Highland Adventure ... thank you to those keeping us updated.
Linda - thanks for the Monday Smiles ... and thanks to Brenda for the sheep going walkies pic!
Thanks to everyone else for chat etc
Take care.
