Weekly Chat, Sunday June 12, 2011

Another new week. I wonder what surprises it will bring?

  • Incidentally, not sure if it was here or on the Daily Chat, but I blathered on the other evening about hearing a Nightingale in our garden. Totally bogus - it was a Mockingbird (I knew that!!)

  • I would like to join another group, actually to check if there is a group for Pulborough? If someone could please post the link for the list of groups, as I cannot find it.

  • When is Odin going to get his fish pie-chart? After all Monty has one.

  • Good Morning All. Rainig here.

OG. Sorry you are still not feeling 100%. Didn't you mention that your jab is due ?  Do look after yourself.

Patricia, Shingles doesn't sound good. I have never had them, but have been told that they can be painful. Take care.

AQ, Good to see you have surfaced but obviously still very tired.

Lynette, Your foot still sounds painful, but see you are busy painting. Maybe you should be sitting with your foot resting a bit more.

Wendy, Thank you for News of Margo. Lovely that you were able to take her to see some of the wonderful sights around. Sorry to hear that she may have a cold because, as we know, colds can become a chest infection with Margo.

    Hope you all enjoy today.

  • Odin may prefer a fish-pie chart! Now there's Strathspey Osprey fish-pie, no cooking involved whatsover. Freshness is required....I'll leave that to the imagination.

    Tiger: Thanks for the links.

  • Good Morning.  Dull here, and a bit damp again.  Glad I don't have to get my hat out and go to Ascot, as it will be rather chilly for the ladies on Ladies Day.

Nice to have our AQ back again - we've missed you!   2000 pics to sort  - Oh my. Hope you get a good nights sleep tonight (today!) & get over the jet lag.

OG:  Hoping you are going to come on today and say you feel a little better - when is your next jab due?  I think its soon.

patricia:  Sorry that its the shingles you have:  hope you are one of the lucky ones who gets off lightly (I was ill for over 6 months with mine.....)   - I suspect its because you are run down and tired. Our immune systems do funny things as we age, and then get stressful situations. Do take care of yourself.

Alan:  They just played the "Thunderbirds" theme on Radio 2 - so of course I thought of you! F.A.B.

Wendy:  Thanks for taking such great care of our margo - she will be so thrilled to have seen some of the great scenery around LG, I'm sure.

Sorry to All I have missed - not had time to reply to everyone lately - but do enjoy reading all the posts.

  • Some more great pictures and videos of the Pale Male Chicks.

  • Lovely clip. Tiger - Thanks!

  • Morning all,

OG : Sorry you are not feeling 100%. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for all the chat and pics, too numerous to mention individually.

Weather is dry and cloudy at the moment but rain is forecast.

The dreaded shopping mission looms so I had better get my full body armour on to do battle with Tescos.

Linda : Thanks for the tip re the Thunderbirds theme. I have been neglecting my heroes lately. FAB
