Heron time has passed so quickly, it seemed a long time away when I sent application to volunteer and here we all packed and ready to go. I smiled about reverting to the age of nine, don't know what my reaction will be when I see them in the flesh for the tirst time. Probably emotional as I love this family of ours so much. I will try and behave on the plane but will probably want to tell everyone on there what I am going to do. Will be one of those annoying passenger who won't shut up LOL. I am so grateful to the RSPB for giving me this opportunity.

We seem to have lost the video!!!
Hello, I'm back at the laptop again. Pity about the webcam, but at least we have the still cam. I cannot believe how much they have grown since I saw them at LG on 25 May, when the second bobbleheaded humbug was trying to reach a morsel provided by EJ. I have only been away a short time and they are HUGE. I was away at the same period last year, and found it very difficult to identify which was who, but at least this time there are only two to define. That in itself is becoming more difficult as the youngest seems to be catching up at a vast rate of knots.
EJ is currently standing on guard over her two chicks.
