Hi everyone.
Many thanks for all the posts, pics, and vids on yestarday's thread. Great to hear of Odin bringing in plenty of fish. A sevenfer?! No wonder his offspring seem to grow at roughly the speed of sound. Super Osprey! :-)
Here's EJ enjoying some rest. A truce must've broken out between Star and Storm ;-)

EJ has decided they need another feed:
-- so nice to hear the Cuckoo, still . Ours has not sung this year.
--- everyone is eating politely today:
Now the chicks are laying low, whilst EJ goes in for some more serious stick moving:
Now they are briefly alone again - EJ gone for more stick reinforcements?
She's back now, but I didn't see if she brought another stick - settling down upon the huge chicks again - that egg is getting to be in the way now there is not so much room.....
I have not been online yesterday ... and .... wow .. amazing!... those chicks have grown tremendously in ONE SINGLE day
Cats and women will do as they please. Dogs and men should relax and get used to it.
Alex: Not sure if you would have seen shots like this from last year. The three chicks on the 25th July. You will see they have no rings, sat packs nor antennae. They fledged between the 11th to 19th July. The time span is very short, until they suddenly disappear on migration, from mid-August onwards, so enjoy.

I watched last year, but only just from about end of June on when they were already "big young birds" :-)
... so "intellectually" I'm quite aware that they grow to really big birds in a really short time... but this year I SEE them grow with this extraordinary speed ... which makes quite a difference

Alex - I have been watching for years, but never cease to be amazed by the growth!
