  • FYI folks, there seems to be a mix up in links between Richard's new blog and Mallachie's page! Katie is trying to figure it out.

  • Mix up on main blog appears to be sorted out.

  • Thanks Annette

The name of the chick on the Maryland Cam is "Braveheart":)

They are very excited there as it is the first chick to hatch/fledge since 2006

  • Just wanted to say a BIG THANK-YOU to Sue C for putting Mallachie's photos on a separate thread.   I hadn't realised there were so many and it was lovely to be able to see them all........what a beautiful girl she is and what fantastic photos!!

  • Teresa:   SOS    you mentioned about 'turning OFF' my system restore??  How on earth  do I do that?  It just stopped on its own. In actually fact, I don't thiink I DID do a SYSTEM restore I think it just restored whatever it was I had in the Back UP (I created a BackUP about 6 months ago but I can't remember what I did and what the backup was of - awful grammar, sorry)

  • Cirrus I will leave a message on your page.  Sorry for delay in replying but we just got back about 3pm today.

Use whatever talent you possess: the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except those that sing the best.

  • NEW BLOG FROM ALICE, NOW.

  • Thank YOU Lindybird; was waiting for one!!

  • I seem to be lucky in 'tuning in' just when the latest report is put on about our LG birds. Good to know that all is well. (Been to Portugal, & the people there are very friendly to strangers, so hope its the same with birds....)

  • Teresa, in case you visit - I went online this am to do some internet banking and discovered the bank was suggesting (and supplying the means) to do a malware antivirus scan before signing in. The provided LOADS of free scan where links most of which I hadn't heard of. Of course Norton, McAfee etc were there but I was amazed at the list. Anyway, I chose one at random (F- something or other) and did a partial scan (four 'ma'l cookies found -  data miners)  but nothing else. Then I did a full scan - nothing came up BUT, suddenly my 'mexican wave' sroll event has become just the normal scroll down (no more dizzy moments!). Can't explain it but I am so please. Maybe the scan ware just did a 'clean up' or something. Now I just need to somehow get my 'Hibernate' option back in my Shut Down meun.
