Morning all - and morning EJ!
Pam that is a shame I am only there for a week and will be leaving on 18th June.

Oh I do feel for the family at LOTL :'( I had no idea that all osprey dads were not made of the same stuff! I think EJ's tired now but she's trying to stay alert, just in case.

Mary (& Scylla): Laird at LotL isn't feeding a family this year, sadly. Two is plenty just for Lady. He proved last year that he can keep up with Odin when he needs to. Have a great time at Gruinard - like everyone else, I'm green with envy!
Margobird: you will have a great time at LG - how lucky you are. Wish I could get up there again this season.
Everyone: lots of wonderful captures today - thanks. I can't watch the cam at work, but I don't miss out completely.
Good evening all OH is out tonight with his Italian Club who are going for a meal as it is the end of term so to speak. How wonderful to log in and see so many wonderful captures of the whole family together. Odin is just magnificent today, I have been watching more than usual and every time I looked there seemed to be a feeding session going on. Great to see Storm has worked it out now and is not backwards at coming forwards. So nice not to see any scrapping over food , or at least not much, so many fish are coming in that there is no need for any sibling rivalry.
Cirrus I agree the weather is being a bit of a bummer for them.
I have been out all day today so thank you all for the captures and the news at the nest. I really appreciate it!
Cirrus have just watched the weather forecast and it is not looking good with heavy rain expected overnight. Good job Odin has kept them well fed today but looks as though poor EJ will sit through another wet and windy night.
Thanks Rachel for pointing out that fact about LOTL Laird, me being new to this I didnt think about there being no chicks to feed.
Cirrus thanks for the weather updates, not looking good for tomorrow, hope the wind doesnt get too strong.
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Hi everyone,
just logged on to hear EJ vocalising. After reading all the previous blogs surely she can't be food soliciting!!! Poor Odin, bet he's exhausted. He is a real star (no pun intended) and can be relied upon to nurture his chicks and look after EJ. He is a real modern man and was a real find for EJ. Let's hope they have many more broods to come. :)
Just caught up with everyone's posts and pics - thanks. Bringing in more fish heh!!!
Mary, thanks for the info.
