Almost forgot about starting this one! Off to read last few posts of last week.
Margo : Glad you enjoyed the Tony Christie concert and that Billie is coming on well.
OG : I was wondering if you had heard anything lately from Threave Castle re the ospreys there
Thats it, I'm emigrating. Thinking about planting out the runner beans (brought on in the greenhouse. ) Took a wander down the garden, tools in hand. Guess what? hailstones. Blue sky at the front of the house, hailstones at the back. Crazy. The only good thing is that here in Inverness the blustery winds seem to have eased. At least we have moist soil, lots of you are needing rain. My SiL in France is despairing, they have several water butts and use all the grey water that they can but may need to use the hosepipe even tho' their water is metered. I wonder how those of you ( ?Annette, AQ, Wattle??) manage your gardens in drought conditions. As for me, runner beans are still under cover, hardening off for a wee bit longer.
How wonderful about the hawk flying - looking forward to the pics.
Just thought I would say that as from Thurs pm I will not be posting. I have had some health issues and have been offered a place in therapy, anything from 4 weeks to 14 weeks. I would rather wait but these places are few and far between so please bear with me and as I should be able to get home now and then I will try and keep in contact. I will miss you all and your friendship and concern. Difficult to post this but best for honesty.
Dibnlib - I am sending you my warmest thoughts and hugs as you enter therapy. Keep in touch when it feels right to do so, we will miss you.
Heather
dibnlib: I'm so very sorry that you must undergo such a long period of therapy. My thoughts are with you. I will miss you and will celebrate your return to us!
Dear dibnlib: I'm sure you must know already that we shall all be thinking of you, and will miss you until your return on to the threads. I hope that all goes well and you will soon be back here amongst us again.
Dibnlib : My thoughts are also with you. Please return to the forum when you can. As others have said, you will be missed.
Thanks for the ironing programme tips Alan esp!
Margo I am so glad that Billie is doing so well.
Dibnlib we will miss you, I am sure you know that as we always worry when someone isn't around for a while. Thanks for letting us know, as you say it must have taken difficult to post. Take care and warmest wishes to you on your journey. Take care.
Just caught the end of a feed. Saw Storm face to face - looks like a meerkat!
Don't forget everyone: Springwatch is on again tonight, BBC2 8,00pm!
