Another  milestone in the chicks development. #1 turned away when it was full :)

#2 got fed but not nearly as much as #! . It is still raining

Oh dear the plink plonk of rain again.  What awful weather they are having at the moment.  EJ hunkered down over her precious brood.

I'm afraid I need glasses... I see two chicks beeing fed, two (???) broken eggshells and no third egg anywhere?

Feeding time again. You can see the big difference in size between chicks ... but its not stopping #2 from muscling in!

The third egg looks intact to me ... this side of chick 2

hmm do you think its intact? perhaps it is and it's only some grass in front of it or on top or something like this, that made me think it was broken

Thanks DjoanS for the pic of another feeding session.  Don't know how many fish have been delivered today but i have been lucky enough to catch quite a few feeds.  Smallest chick is getting fed and I suppose EJ will only give it what it can manage in one go.  Most amusing when chick 1 fell over obviously stuffed to the hilt.

In this first pic, you can see the stripe ip the back of one chick, which has its head down.  Immediately above is the second chick, almost side on, looking up at EJ.

In the second pic, the chicks are in roughly the same places, but both have assumed the typical 'pyramid' shape of young chicks.

Wattie15: Thanks for your efforts to convince me, but I am still sceptical. It is difficult with these images to be certain. I wish the centre could confirm their view. It is interesting though and as enthusiasts we all would like to know as much as possible.

What assists me in my view is that the later image for example in the thread of 24th, done by RtB seems to indicate only one chick present. Here it is.
