I thought a little earlier that I could hear noises from the last egg but maybe the chicks make sucking noises? Anyway, I'm up so I thought I'd start us off. But going to bed now.
Good night EJ it sounds a little wet now
I'm pleased to see chick 2 is a feisty little thing ... getting its fair share!

I don't think I will ever get used to watching these feeding sessions when the chicks are so young.
Both chicks are really hungry and EJ feeds lots of tiny bits of fish to each of them... very cute :-)
Cats and women will do as they please. Dogs and men should relax and get used to it.
Oh well, maybe it was Storm.
Short clip of the feed taken before I go to Tescos:
EJ is certainly feeding them even handedly. That's great.
Thanks Alan
I just watched that feed on the CARNYX site myself (which is not where I usually watch). Earlier, it was the shell at the back I saw move (hard to distinguish sometimes which is the whole one and part shell). Maybe it was one of the little one's wriggling that was moving it? Really sorry folks.
Oh, that heart sinking feeling ...

Doesn't matter Hazel - we all do things like that ... its not important!
Good morning all and logged in just in time to see EJ feeding the chicks. Was so, so happy to see both getting fed and it is amazing how strong they look already. As Lindybird says these are going to 2 very special ospreys but then they all are. EJ peeping away and think I can hear Odin in the distance. I wonder if he came back for leftovers.
Many thanks to:-
Heron for all the pics and love the cornflake comment. Hope you have a good roost.
DjoanS for all your pics
Barbara Jean for pics
auntie definitely a round of applause for you on being the first to see chick 2 and your pics this morning.
Cirrus for your pics
Alan for the two videos, just lovely to watch EJ sharing food out equally. I am sure Odin will up his game and be in direct competion with the Rutland Bay male. He has never let us down yet.
Lynette lovely captures.
jsb for stats.
Really happy that the wind does seem to have dropped now. What an uncomfortable few days they have had.

Oh dear ... sounds like the gentle plink, plonk of rain again :-(
