I thought a little earlier that I could hear noises from the last egg but maybe the chicks make sucking noises? Anyway, I'm up so I thought I'd start us off. But going to bed now.
Good night EJ it sounds a little wet now
EJ is now calling again.

Hungry again and EJ is feeding them
EJ is feeding the chicks again ... but she's in the way so I can't see! Judging by the noises they are making they are wanting plenty :-)

Can't see much as EJ right in front of them
Fish delivery a few minutes ago. The handover was off camera because one moment EJ's calling, then next thing she's feeding the bobbleheads.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Home alone briefly, EJ now snuggling them down again.
Re the second hatching....have LG Centre issued a correction? Richard's diary said...."It's been a while coming, but at 10.31am today a second egg hatched."
I have been looking for a comment from LG, since I have been at Weir Wood reservoir most of the day. Can somebody tell me where to find something official on this. At the moment the stats are showing 10.31. Auntie's capture was taken while I was on line yesterday and that together with the stuff I posted around 10.30, raised some questions in my mind, but the resolution of the images is not that brilliant and the cunning camouflage of EJ and her brood adds to the mystique.

jsb: I haven't been able to find anything official yet, but the visual evidence is pretty clear. I've just watched Robert the Bruce's video capture again, taken just before 4.00 am on 24 May, and there was no sign of movement from either egg, except when the chick nudged one. The next pics, taken by Auntie from the stills camera (while the streaming camera was still down) at 6.20 am owards, clearly show a second chick. The clearest of these picks was taken at 06:30:11, as shown by the time/date stamp, and posted a couple of minutes later. All this is on page 1 of Daily Update 24 May. ;-)
