Hi everyone.
Many thanks for all the updates, pics etc. Great to have sound back on but I must admit the weather forecasts and the wind I'm currently hearing on the LG cam, have got me feeling a bit edgy. I can hear calls but they sound more like small bird than Ospreys (adult or chick). EJ is currently awake, and just as I was about to say she looks deep in thought, she gave one of those looks :-)
But she does look quite thoughtful though

Cirrus: That is encouraging.

Must go pay some essential bills and buy some food. back later
Welcome back to margo !! You will be in time to see the other hatchings, I hope - I'm sure they will be OK Cirrus!
Feeding time from the remaining fish for EJ and chick
EJ was shouting as I went off to the loo - now I'm back & she is feeding the Humbug - its lovely to watch.
EJ's feathers getting blown around in a most undignified manner. She just got up to grab that left over fish, and her wings acted like a sail and nearly blew her away!
Chick is now being fed again

Thanks Brenda - I wondered if I'd missed Odin returning. Must be the fish she already had in the larder - oh! that poor chick is looking around as if to say "its a windy world alright"
EJ can barely stand up in the wind. It is amazing Odin is able to catch any fish

Totally amazing that Odin is brining in fish. With most male ospreys EJ and the chick would be fasting just now.
Tiger Signature
Its so lovely to watch EJ feeding the chick ... so gentle with such a big, hooked beak!
