Hi everyone.
Many thanks for all the updates, pics etc. Great to have sound back on but I must admit the weather forecasts and the wind I'm currently hearing on the LG cam, have got me feeling a bit edgy. I can hear calls but they sound more like small bird than Ospreys (adult or chick). EJ is currently awake, and just as I was about to say she looks deep in thought, she gave one of those looks :-)
But she does look quite thoughtful though
Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Oh I just can't stand it . I 've just watched Alan's videol
Im going to work . I'm so upset.
How EJ battled in Alan's clip! I do wish the wind would at least take away that empty eggshell, its in the way.
EJ seems to be calling but can't understand why when part of the fish is under her. As she settled down after feeding herself and the chick she still had part eaten fish under her.

Kept trying to reply to Cirrus, but it wouldn't load....
'Bye Cirrus, try not to worry too much, EJ looks as if she knows what to do.

Cirrus
Please don't worry. EJ is experienced enough to know what to do
Best wishes Chris

It looks absolutely deadful!!!! Poor, poor EJ and the worst of it is nothing can be done to help her.
Cirrus as long as the chick and EJ have something to eat they will make it through this. And Odin is doing a "magnificent job' of bringing fish. He is truly amazing. He is not only catching the fish , but he lifting himself and the fish out to the water and then flying with them in gale force winds . When he flies to the nest he is coming from the left side of our screen so he is flying "into" the wind. Wow He is a powerful bird !
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
He is always proving himself to be a Hero, Barbara Jean. We called him 'Odin the Magnificent' last year, and this year he is not letting us down.
Alan, thank you so much for your video. We call Odin, Magnificent, and he is, but I can't think of a correct superlative for EJ, as none of them seem to be enough to describe her. she is such a superb mother.
How Odin managed to fish in such atrocious weather is beyond my imagination.
EJ goes for a fly around and Odin arrives. I think, possibly, he was tempted by the fish on the nest, but EJ returns and starts feeding herself and chick.
