Hi everyone.
Many thanks for all the updates, pics etc. Great to have sound back on but I must admit the weather forecasts and the wind I'm currently hearing on the LG cam, have got me feeling a bit edgy. I can hear calls but they sound more like small bird than Ospreys (adult or chick). EJ is currently awake, and just as I was about to say she looks deep in thought, she gave one of those looks :-)
But she does look quite thoughtful though
Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.

Wigtown Bay first egg has just hatched after 38 days. Ej s first egg was very early at 35 days. Tomorrow is day 38 for EJ s second egg. I am a bit worried about the first egg at LOTL as it is now 40 days since it was laid.
The gales are over 70 mph over here in Northern Ireland. It is bad enough in the house listening to it but I wouldn't like up to be in a nest at the top of a tree. Poor EJ. Hope the other eggs don't bother hatching for another day or two!!
EJ now calling against the wind
Even just the sound of that wind, is horrendous.
Hi All
I couldnt have chosen a worse day for finding the time from my sheep etc to log in and catch up!!! Poor EJ I feel so sorry for her. It's dreadful here in Somerset and I can't begin to imagine how EJ feels sitting on a cold wet nest in the gales and rain protecting her offspring. I so wish I was making my usual trip this week for two weeks away in the Highlands but unfortunately I can't leave the farm this year.
It's good to catch up with the chat though.
Odin has just arrived with a fish, EJ eventually got up and is tucking into it, he is staying on the nest obscuring the wee one and...............still only one.
EJ is now feeding the chick and herselfOdin just flying off after trying to keep his balance on the nest.
Clip of part of last feed. Watch how EJ protects the humbug from the wind here.
Thanks to Lynette and Alan for pics.
Hi bocelli!
