Was just going to post with a pic but it seems there's a few monitoring for us at the moment :-)
Odin having trouble with the high winds, flies off.
Oh a stick has blown across the nest, nearly hitting the little one and the eggs!

Odin has delivered and EJ is tucking in like there's no tomorrow, meanwhile bobblehead is bleating for his lunch.Odin has now flown off.

Oh dear, I just cannot resist popping back! Odin has just flow away and EJ started to feed the chick. Oh no, a rather large twig was blow next to the chick and eggs by a sudden gust of wind.

EJ eating ravenously, decides the wind is too cold for the chick, and covers it without feeding, removing the offending stick in the process!
What a wonderful Mum!
She's had a feed, went to settle down , moved some furniture and is now back on her eggs and little one.
Rather worried about how that wind is blowing nest parts around.

All the pictures are great but this one tells it all about Odin's reaction to the new chick . He loved egg sitting and now he can't do that unless he wants to brood the chick too . Have any males brooded the chicks too?
