The new little one held it's head up much better today. Yesterday the poor thing fell over each time it grabbed a bit from EJ's beak. It was as if the food was too heavy for it's little head. Love the way EJ keeps a fish right next to her on the nest for feeding when ever she thinks it is needed. IF Odin comes to take the uneaten fish EJ will let him know he can't have it , is for the chick LOL
Today we may have another chick hatch . Then #1 will have company

Barbara Jean I do not think there will be another chick today. Normally first chicks arrive at 37 or 38 days and subsequent chicks take about 35 days. Since chick #1 arrived on 35 days there is not much room for manouvre.
