Greetings all. Sunday, almost 9.45 am here. Gorgeous pics of flowers & cats & dog on previous thread.Back later.
Last week there was an interesting event at the nest. A male tried to land on the nest which upset EJ and then sat in a tree next to the nest "with Odin" . Odin seemed comfortable enough with the intruding male that he went fishing and brought a fish back for EJ
Is there any information on how adult siblings react to each other? Could that male been a sibling of Odin which would account for his lack of concern. If so Odin may have brought a fish for EJ to show his brother " his" nest .

Barbara Jean It is very rare to see adult siblings together since it is so unlikely for more than one chick from a nest to survive migration.
However there have been a number of sibling interactions at Rutland the scene of yesterday's bad news.

Are the adult siblings agressive toward each other as if they were strangers?

Hello Gary, nice to 'see' you again. Fun, isn't it, trying to find your way around.
Now one thing I haven't fathomed so far is how to bring the original 'chat' together with your response. I've typed in the bottom box 'reply' and typed in the 'reply' to a response and each gives a solo response. Any help gratefully received!

Sheila You reply to the person you want to quote. You choose rich format. Then choose quote from the top left land side of the box. Ok?
