Greetings all. Sunday, almost 9.45 am here. Gorgeous pics of flowers & cats & dog on previous thread.Back later.
Just popped in, not yet caught up, however I would like to welcome Lorna to our little part of the Community, but a Community with a huge heart! Nice to have someone from Spain to give yet another perspective on all things chatted about here!! We are a worldwide group as you will find out.
Birdie's DU Summaries 2018 https://www.imagicat.com/
SHEILA sorry may have been confused and given you duff info. The Ord Ban Restaurant which has closed is the one at Inverdruie, any other might well still be open.
WENDY most of Dillons toys are quiet ones from charity shops. I did buy him a duck once from a pet shop and it quacked and drove us nuts!!!!! By the way I sang Happy Birthday to Dillon this am and gave him his new furry dog (it's huge) He took one sniff and then went back to one of his old ones. Thanks Mum!!!!!
By for now, off to church, back later
Morning Everyone. Have just skimmed through the above, and will read it all in more detail later, as going out soon.
Hope those going on their hols today have a great time, and we'll see you 'on the other side!'....
Lorna - Welcome to you from me, too. Nice to see a new poster here. Do join in - as you can see, everyone is very friendly and helpful.
Good morning Everyone....thought I would take a sneaky peak, whilst OH is cleaning the decking and patio of bird droppings :-( Of course its my fault, as I'm the only person feeding the total bird population of our village! his words lol
Diane in Indiana, Thank you for the info on Endeavour's launch and the lunar eclipse...When I was growing up, my dad would often to take the four of us to Jodrell bank to the visitors centre, so its always been an interest of mine, probably started before my addiction of birds.
Thank you everyone for the posts this morning.
Good morning all OH at work so a couple of hours to catch up with last Weekly chat and will reply to curent Weekly in another post.
A very warm welcome to Lorna and do enjoy our chats about everything and anything and all the great photographs posted.
patriciat will be thinking of you and hoping you can get some extra care for your OH to help you out a bit.
Lynette lovely pic of Mrs Blackbird and Mrs Chaffinch.
bettyboo gorgeous pics of Oska and Charlie. Poor Oska but it is amazing how well they manage with just 3 legs.
SheilaFE Love the duck pics and what a shame about Andy Murray, I had actually stopped watching as I though the match wasn't going to last long after the first set. Was amazed when I looked in later to see them still playing after 3 hours.
WendyB Tiger looksa lot like our Billie and he defiinely enjoyed his meal of tuna. Have dropped a message on your page. Thanks for your message all noted.
Lindybird that is such a nice photo of Buzz with his Dad. Yes it is a shame we didn;t know of one another when you were in Poole. Would have been great to meet you as it would all the other bloggers. The Poole Pottery outlet ran into financial difficulties and closed down. Their operation is a lot smaller now and they just have smaller premises elsewhere now. Such a shame really as we used to go in there a lot.
dibnlib can just imagine Dillon and the cat. Good job he backed off as the cat could have given him a nasty scratch on his. Sounds as though he has loads of toys.
BrendaH my panic is over Wendy contacted me via personal page and details I required I now have. This is where the new upgrade will be better I think as we will be able PM who we want.
That is my first post and off now to read the new Weekly chat. Weather fine here but a bit chilly and Billie has seen off a neighbour's cat this morning who had the cheek to intrude on her territory. She was wailing at it and spitting and eventually she won and cat disappeared. After making sure it was off the premises she has come in and is fast alseep in the front room.

Annette in SoCal and Diana in Indiana....Thank you for your messages re: the boys...They do have a hard life! lol
AQ thanks for your post about your church tour, sounds very interesting. OH and I like walking round churches. A few years back we spent our holiday in Cornwall going round churches and have all the booklets about them which we often look at. As you say TIL WE MEET AGAIN hopefully.
Hi Diane that must have been a wonderful sight and from what you say they do sound like shire horses, very large but very gentle creatures and as you say not a sight usually seen in a city.
Take care and look foward to seeing you again on the other side.

Oh, quietwoman, I can so sympathize! As everyone on this thread knows, a very aggressive pair of Kingbirds managed to get in through a hole and nest in my garage last spring. They could strike terror in my heart whenever I had to fetch the lawn mower! They would dive-bomb me ferociously. I hope your swallows are friendlier. :-)))
I don't know much about swallows, so I can't answer your question about nesting behavior. A lot of the birds here build new nests every year even if they are a returning pair.
Hi Annette know I have probably missed you but have a great trip and enjoy catching up with Delilah. Hope we will all find one another again after the upgrade.
