EJ snoozing peacefully at the moment.

Good morning Quitewoman sshame your computer is playing up. I am beginning to think that we will not have sound this year, such a shame but as you say if it is the microphone they would not be able to get near the nest to do anything.

Good to see you again QW - I really DO empathise re your computer - I was without mine for months before March. Now, the sound thing. Richard said rodents had chewed on the cables. Does that mean, therefore, that it isn't the microphone? Or is that me just wishful thinking? I think it's double rats !!!
EJ has just had a standup stretch and a good exercise flap, and is gentling getting back on her eggs.

Hi everyone
EJ just left for a moment and then came back. When I switched on the web-cam page I was surprised to see the eggs on their own, but she came back quickly.
She looks very warm
Best wishes Chris

Hi folks. Thanks Heron and Annette for starting us off today.
Thank you all for your posts and pics. Regarding sound, maybe, just maybe, when they come to ring the chicks something could be done then to the sound if not repaired any earlier. Just a thought but it is frustrating without it.
EJ looks contented at present - I take it no fish has appeared yet???
What a difference this years' incubation period is as from last year with all the wind, rain, sleet and snow about. Positively sublime this year.

Quite breezy at present, bit of a bad hair afternoon!
Unless..............that is Odin sitting now and I missed the change over.
Hi Lynette, yes that is Odin, there was a fish delivery at around 4.10, I did not see it come in but as EJ was taking it the fish flapped, it looked rather on the small side but could not see too well.
And here's EJ back and settling on the eggs.
Golly Lynette :( by the time the chicks are ringed the shouting is practically over !!
