  • Hi everyone.

Robert the Bruce: I'm not sure how many fish have been delivered today.  Didn't log on until some point between 11 and noon.

    Margo:
I'm refreshed after combining both a night, day, and fair part of a back shift.  This Osprey watching can be slightly addictive ;-)

    Cirrus, Joan:
Great to see that a fish has been delivered.  Great pic of Odin looking at the eggs Joan.

  • Alison Elder over on FB has said:    ''

14.34 Odin flies over the nest with a FISH I think. Yes, he's come back round and landed with it. EJ flies off with it and Odin sits down on the eggs.''

    Doesn't  Odin look contented   :)

  • Great to read a fish was delivered although someone on the Wildlife Village said it looked a bit like an eel.

    Lovely pic DjoanS.

Heron it is very addictive watching our ospreys, had to keep popping out in the garden as we had someone in to empty the pond, clean it all and general maintenance.  4 years since we had it done but it looks a whole lot better.  Discovered we had 4 more fish than we thought.  Sorry that is a bit off topic but hadn't been looking in for while.  Glad you are refreshed and getting ready for all the shifts you do.

  • No sound ... but she is chirping at Odin ... who eventually gives up his eggs. He is standing around watching now.

    Then he flies off

  • Thanks Cirrus good to have confirmation of a fish.  Just watched EJ fly back in and wait patiently to take over again.  A real shame having no sound because you could see their beaks moving so obviously having their customary chat.  Now Odin has left the nest.  Got a good view of the 3 eggs this time.

After nearly two days without access - timed out etc over and over again, and no camera - I come on to find Odin on his own, no sound.  I captured that, and went back to the screen and found EJ standing beside him.  What super news about the third egg.

EJ is now back on the eggs and Odin is standing centre stage

and he's away.  It is so nice to be able to read your wonderful updates.  Thank you all so very much.

  • DjoanS I love the way she stands there and then moves up very close and personal to get Odin to move.

  • Cirrus: Odin always looks contented on the eggs :-)

Margo: Glad you got your pond cleaned :-)

EJ got up a couple of minutes ago, and let me see the three eggs for the first time in daylight hours :-)  At the moment she's combining incubation and preening :-)
