Hi folks. EJ has turned round again and is facing us although at present she is looking out to the right
She looks contented now although was a bit fidgity earlier. Won't be around much tomorrow as going out for the day so will catch up with the news later.

He is an example of perfect partnership, Cirrus. And yesterday I was wondering if we would be treated this year to another example of his perfect parenthood, when he actually fed the young 'uns, himself - do you remember?

And has anyone seen Odin this morning?
Hello Cirrus Thank you. I was quite nervous about asking anyone. We went to Langford Lakes which was a bit of a poor timing decision as there were roadworks and road closures around Stonehenge so we had to take a long route through Salisbury, and on Sunday we went to Dinton Pastures.
I'm now assuming that's Odin on the nest, but I can't tell from the back view unless anyone has some pointers
I do remember LIndy - I really do. with one eye on EJ to make sure his feeding the chick was OK with her LoL
Kelly - it is almost impossible from the back to recognise one Osp from another. Odin's ''don't mess with me'' profile and full face together with that distinctive (to my mind) quiff of ''hair'' at the back of his handsome head are good clues.
Hi Kelly - It is harder to ID them from the back view - Odin is much much whiter on his chest for instance. EJ has more little white feathers on her upper flanks, I think. and Odin is slimmer! but somethimes its harder to gauge this when they are not together. Please don't be shy about asking anything - we all pool our knowledge.
== and yes, that's Odin egg sitting just now!
I see Odin is in charge of the eggs again!
Linda - I remember Odin feeding the chicks ... one of my favourite moments of last year ... captured in this pic :-))

Good Morning. Slept in this morning. As always very grateful for overnight and earlier reports and pictures. Very quiet on the nest.
-- Hope you're feeling better, Brenda, I remember you wern't too good over the last few days.
Joan, That picture brings a lump to my throat. I have some pictures of that. I feel Odin has matured so much more this year and there is every chance we will see that scene again. That is if EJ allows him.
OH, clap clap DJoan and :)
Brenda - I hope sleeping in means rejuvenating you ? I'm sorry you've been so 'under the weather' recently
Yes thanks Linda. I feel so much better now, but still hacking a little. Just catching up on sleep now.
Thanks Cirrus.
