Let's see what/who today brings! Back later.
Looks like I'm wrong Sandy. All the images I uploaded after yours are some other Osprey. Your query 'who' was quite right. I had tunnel vision on 'our' family even though I was thinking. Mmm, it doesn't really look like our Mallachie here. I even entitled one of my images in my folder (A very grown up looking Mallachie !).
The bird feeding in the tree at 11.10 definitely had an aerial, though it wasn't visible for quite a while - just a displaced feather sticking up where the aerial must protrude
morning everyone
Thanks for all the reports. I am confused as always:) Glad to see Mallchie got something to eat .
Are you really sure Birdnuts? About it being Mallachie in the tree. All I've seen in a while, you see, is a beak and a few breast feathers.
Wonderful closeups of Mallachie feeding and snoozing in a tree - aerial just visible a moment ago.
Are we really really sure this is Mallachie?
'Cos it looks to me like the Osprey I thought was Rothes returned from a 'short' migration. But of course I was wrong.
OK , the alice band (as Paula calls it) seems right - I'm becoming convinced Birdnuts.
Thanks for lovely pics, Cirrus. Arn't they beautiful birds.

If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
