Changeover - EJ flies off for a break, and Odin flies in and settles very very carefully on the egg .
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Morning all ... thanks for pics and commentary ... very entertaining! Just came on to see Odin egg-sitting and EJ chirping at him to move ... which he does and flies off.

EJ returns, and asks for th egg back with little peeps. Odin reluctantly leaves, giving us a view of the egg. It is speckly this year.
(Hi Heron!)
Radio Chaffinch going full belt this morning, and EJ looks peaceful on the nest. Very little wind.
(Hi Joan, nice pic)
Hi Joan :-)Hi Linda :-)The light looks lovely at LG just now. Been out back hanging up a new washing line (nearly swore there LOL) Nice to see a peaceful looking EJ, when I come back in :-)

Good morning Lynette, thank you for new page.
Hello there Heron – you’ve caught some lovely night shots and I love you comments about the Tawny Owl :)
Hello Kelly and Annette. Great captures Kelly!! Thanks for uploading those.
I wonder if we’ll see a second egg tomorrow - hopefully before I go out hiking. EJ usually lays very early so I might catch any news before I leave the house.
I know this is the wrong Forum but I’d like Kelly to see the image I’m about to upload so please would you excuse me this one time. Kelly, you were saying about how small an Osprey egg is in comparison to the adult bird.
The picture is of a pair of White Tailed Eagles in Estonia with their first chick hatched that year. A White Tailed Eagle has a wing span of 8 feet !! So even bigger than an Osprey. Just look at the tiny chick (and how interested the parents are in it )
Sheila , hello to you too - you’ve caught some lovely pics too. Thank you.
Lindy, hello to you. ‘Morning DJoan.
Just lovely pics to start my day. Thank you all.
EJ looking peaceful still, on the nest. Sun is coming out and all is well....
Thanks to All for overnight pics and posts - and well done, Kelly, with your first capture!! (wish I could do it, its probably too technical for me)
EDIT: Nice pic of the W T. Eagles, Cirrus.
Morning all,
Thanks for all the commentary and pics overnight. Brilliant reporting by Paul.
