Evening all: Been out most of the day; just sat down - phew. Off to check other threads; back in a bit!
Oh, just found Gordon Buchanan on BBC2 - seals.
Edit: actually it was killer whales, and I suspect a programme made out of last years autumn watch. But still interesting.

Not had chance to get on here today as was busy with new "toys". Had new cooker, tumble dryer and microwave delivered today. Unpacked the tumble dryer and fixed it all up, then the microwave but had a real tussle with it trying to get it to work properly. Seriously thought I have bought one that was too high tec for me. Had to go out to choir etc, came back and went freshly to it and it suddenly clicked what I had been doing wrong so now all is right with the world. Cooker was unpacked by our friendly builder and myself before he connected it up to the gas supply - works a treat and have gone back to one with a high level grill much better.
Haven't looked at todays posts yet but promise to skim through them - so in advance thanks for all the updates and pics.

Looking back at some of your posts I see that Alan has reported Jason's passing - how sad - do they know yet what caused it??
Lindybird - lovely pics of the magnolia trees and of Sweetpea. Can't believe he's already 4mths old.
ShielaFE - glad to hear that friends were married in Sri Lanka and that they enjoyed their time out there
We are awaiting renewal of passports before we dare risk booking and then may go ahead.
Take care all - too many to reply to but much appreciated.
Evening all: So. Eggs at LOTL and LG! Great news.
Wendy: That's just awful about those two teens - I just read about it on BBC Scotland's website. What a terrible tragedy; how can families, especially parents, survive anything like that? Awful. But a fuschia in a woodmouse nest? that's sweet. Too bad little Mrs. W had gone to that great nest in the sky.
Brenda: Bet you all heaved a sigh of relief with the auto warranty still in force.
Lynette: I have a pretty high-tech microwave and tend to use it in "dumbed-down" mode. Keep those Owners Manuals handy!
I'm off to bed again early tonight - have to be up at 5:30; catching train to LA at 6:30, then a local train out to San Bernardino to meet my daughter who's driving back from Arizona. She'll be very tired and isn't used to driving in L.A. which is a traffic nightmare, so I'm going to meet her and take over the driving the last few hours. So goodnight all. Thanks for all your pix and posts. :-)

Hi everyone ............ LoTLs cam is back up !
Hi Cirrus! Thanks! Wonderul news of EJ's Egg!!
Morning to Everyone. A little chilly here, but dry and not too windy. Have enjoyed all the chat and pics. Have to do boring things today, but will do them whilst whistling and thinking of EJ and her imminent brood!
Lynette: Enjoy your new 'gadgets' - its never easy to learn all the new knobs and buttons!
WendyB: I too loved the little tumble down cottage. What a shame its not loved any more.
Brenda: what a good thing that your OH was so insistent that the dealer look closely at the car - it would have been out of warranty and that would have been so annoying, when your daughter had always insisted it was not right. Glad it got sorted.
Annette: Have a nice visit with your daughter. I too, get gurgling messages on the phone - and my OH goes all gooey when faced with Baby, he just melts!
margo: It is now official then - that's "Billys Table!" and not yours.

I also note for those who can access it: The good news is that Ted Oakes, the producer of The Bear Family and Me, said today that National Geographic will air the 3-part series in June.

Shelia That series is so good. It seems that us in the UK can view it at any time on iPlayer. See The Bear Family and Me.
Thanks Cirrus
