Hi all: very late starting this - was gone most of the day. I saw Odin on the nest - brilliant! Now off to check on Lady and, hopefully, catch up on chat!

OH and car came home. Had lunch. Waiting for electrician to fit replacement the fan in wet room – OH bought same model for other bathroom and recently fitted himself, then noticed mine isn’t as super automatic as it should be – still guaranteed, so bathroom company are having to replace it.
Cirrus – I thought Thursday was your Brenda day – maybe it changed to Tuesday when you were offline last autumn – thinking of you; I really admire your loyalty to her.
George – I hope your Son and DiL had a good holiday. Are they staying a few more days with you before they set off back up north? I hope you are feeling better now.
Alan – March winds and April showers together here!
Alicat – more lovely pictures. She really has settled very well. Do you have any problems leaving her at night?
Been watching Mrs Blackbird taking nest material into the hedge. We already knew they had chosen the nesting place last week, but she has been working so hard today – one load of our mini-bark from around the compost bins to two loads of softer plant material from the corner garden behind – I hope they weren’t his prize petunias or something! Actually, on looking at photo, appears more like fern fronds.
Also been seeing Goldfinches all day today, starting with five at breakfast time. Here’s just one of them:
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Lovely photos original goldfinch, that blackbird couldn't get any more in his beak if he triedl.

Afternoon OG she sleeps in our bedroom with us as have to leave cat in kitchen if we don't she stripes the wallpaper off but for some reason doesn't do that in the kitchen
OG - Mrs Blackbird looks more like a thrush in that pic. Is it perhaps to do with the light?

"ChloeB: Glad you bought the stamps; glad you bought the stamps; glad you bought the stamps. :-)))"
LOL however did that happen, did that happen, did that happen :)))
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
Chloe - she really is a Blackbird (confirmed by the partnership with Mr Blackbird!), but her chest is lighter and more speckled than most - she's been around a long time now.
OG I'm surprised she could see where she was going with that lot in her beak!
Alicat what a surprise that Bobbie sleeps with you!!
When we got Mia I was adamant that she would stay in the kitchen at night. She did until she got kennel cough and we were so worried about her she came in to our room with her bed next to ours. Of course that was the end of her nights in the kitchen!
A golf course that is not just 'a good walk spoiled':
