Hi all: very late starting this - was gone most of the day. I saw Odin on the nest - brilliant! Now off to check on Lady and, hopefully, catch up on chat!
Good afternoon all although it was still morning when I first logged on. Having the most frustrating morning with my PC, had hit the Reply button to various posts when machine froze up solid. It has taken me nearly an hour to get it working again, probably need to do something about my Favourites as it is groaning under the weight.
Would have done lots of individual postings but so many that it would take ages to read through again. Thanks anyway for all the news and after getting up early, doing housework and then a quick trip into town I thought I would have plenty of time to spend here.
Thanks to Sheila FE and patricat for you kind thoughts re my sister. She is seeing another consultant today so will find out what they have decided to do next.
george g I hope you are feeling a little better.
We had one very disgruntled Billy this morning. It was dry when he first appeared to have some "naughty" time but started to rain quite heavily. OH went out to go to work and Billy was sheltering under the car and did not want to move. He usually goes quickly when we appear but obviously didn't want to leave the nice dry spot he had found for himself. Eventually ne moved off but you could see he was not best pleased. It did stop raining and the next time I saw him he was in his usual place on the carport roof. He has again beat a hasty exit as it is pouring down at the moment. He is probably looking forward to OH's return tonight. He kept us very amused last evening with countless trips to investigate the pond. We kept going out and he would run away only to return shortly thereafter. This went on for a couple of hours until we gave up. He was there but obviously the game is for us to chase him off as he lost interest when we stopped and went away on his own accord.
Won't be able to log on for long tomorrow as we are off to London mid-afternoon so I am hoping OH won't mind if I look in tonight while he watches football.
Have a good day all and sorry for the lack of replies to all,
Margobird
Alicat I think you've done the best thing possible and wish you much fun and happiness with Bobbie.
Afternoon all,
Alicat : Thanks for introducing us to Bobbie.
Lynette : Glad your OH is home and feeling much better.
Annette : Well done on seeing 8 whales and good news re g'son.
WendyB : As the rocks are granite dont you worry about Radon?
Thanks to everyone else for the chat etc.
The weather is dull and windy with rain blowing through. Not at all pleasant for gardening. I think we are getting all the March winds in April.
ALICAT smacked wrists for me for wrong spelling of Bobbie. Was so excited to see her that I forgot to look again and check spelling. Hope you are having a great day with her. Look foward to any more photos.
Lynette very remiss of me but I am so pleased your OH is home and feeling a little more comfortable, must have been a worrying time for you.
Alan I think we are all getting April weather, not very pleasant here in Dorset with rain on and off and very windy but not as bad as it is at LG and LOtL. Has Hamish fully recovered now?
Annette after my frustrating morning with my PC Alan has reminded me of what I had hoped to say to you. Pleased that grandson is doing OK and what a successful whale count for you.
Just had a look at Palemale and Lima's page and it seems as though Lincoln has lost a much loved dog and has posted some photos.

Just had a look at the Dunedin cam, nest looking good and quite deep but female sitting (I think). No new notes added about the other osprey nest which was hanging by a thread after the storms.
ALICAT thanks for the photos of one adorable little girl. Bet you are over the moon about her. She looks so playful and has probably worn herself out.
