Hi everyone.A happy new month to all. I wonder what the first day in April will bring for the LG Ospreys. Perhaps Odin. :-)

Hello again everyone. Although I haven't posted, I do check in from time to time.
Forgive me if I'm asking a question which has already been answered elsewhere, but do we have any news of Rothes (and possible migration) ? I keep checking with the LG tracking page but there has been no mention of Rothes for some time. Maybe I've missed something. I expect being a younger osprey she might leave later but it would be good to know.
Thanks in advance!
PS. I hope I have got the right forum to post the above. She is an LG bird!
Morning All. Nice to come on and find EJ looking me straight in the eye! That wind is still a bit gusty, but probably not as bad as it sounds on the mic. Thanks to Heron for starting us off. Also thanks to All for the great pics.
Flying C - nice to see you! As you say, not much news of Rothes lately but I hold my breath that maybe she will return this season.

Hi FlyingC, So that posts don't get lost in the Daily news (or weekly over winter) Tiger set up a thread specifically for tracking Rothes (& Mallachie). See http://www.rspb.org.uk/community/groups/lochgartenospreys/forum/p/3440/261388.aspx#261388
EJ is sitting/EDITstanding rather, silently on the nest, gazing around - looking for a man? Or just curious as to the goings on around?
Flying C, Lindy - hello to you. I did read in one of the Blogs that Rothes appeared to be enjoying herself amongst the islands and showed no sign of flying north. Maybe next year.
Morning all ... thanks for posts and pics. I have both LG and LOTL cams on ... and EJ and Lady are both standing scanning the skies!
EDIT - of course, as soon as I hit 'post' EJ starts the housework!!!

Whilst I was on the phone just now, EJ flew off.
EJ has just returned to a windy nest with a chirrup and a stick, and is now moving bits and pieces around.

Now doing her one-legged balancing act, which must be quite challenging in the blustery wind!
I love that little chirrup she makes, she does it when the chicks are waiting for her, sometimes.
