Hello Margo , Dibnlib
Super pic Alan
Called the computer guy out this am as couldn’t boot up – keeping fingers crossed (AGAIN)
Looking in and there are so many postings, can't keep up but thanks for all the info.
Gary - what adorable pics of Miss Toffee
OG - love those of the birds and Alan of your flowering cherry.
Had a bit of a shock when I got home from a meeting at Church to find OH had been rushed down to our local A&E with severe pain in his right side. This came on on Sunday evening but he put up with it and it came and went with rather a restless night on Sunday. However, after evening meal yesterday the pain started again and became worse during the course of the evening. Son rang from the hospital to tell me what was happening and would stay there so he could bring him back hopefully. Around 12.30am he rang to say that they would be on their way shortly after waiting for a prescription etc. It seems it might be a kidney stone - which I believe can cause excruciating pain. Anyway, he's home now armed with painkillers, antiinflamatories, and antibiotic so wer'e now waiting to hear when he can go for a scan. All a bit dramatic ,
Wonderful news, isn't it, about Lady and that the two ospreys have reclaimed nest at Manton Bay.
Going for some lunch, back later.

Good afternoon all haven't been posting recently and have just managed to catch up with all the news . Son and his wife were here for the weekend and when they come they take over the computer and it only now that I am able to spend time here.
Alicat I was very sorry to hear the news about Casper and I know how heartbreaking it is I have in the past gone thro' the same senario. My sympathy goes out to everyone else who is going through difficult times at the moment but this is a great site for getting things off your chest and everyone is very supportive.
Have enjoyed the various pictures and Gary in a few months time it will be Toffee that will be taking you for a walk. Diesel and I are getting on very well and walking in the parks with all the daffodils out and the sun shinning makes it a pleasure. Last week he got a haircut and he looks a very different dog from the one that came to me originally. He still runs away when you try to take a photo.
It is exciting to see the female ospreys back and we are now waiting on the males returning but mabe they like men don't like to ask directions.
Have a good day everybody

Lynette your poor OH kidney stones cause the most awful pain. My first husband suffered badly and I saw him many times crawling up the wall with the pain. Hope he manages to pass it and painkillers etc will help.
Good afternoon geerge g I expect you enjoyed the vist from your son and his wife even though you lost your computer for the weekend. Nice to know that you and Diesel have really hit it off and are enjoying walks together in the Spring sunshine. Bet he looks even more handsome after his haircut.
Afternoon all ... nothing much to report here! Sunny morning, but has clouded over and is much cooler. It was lovely sitting in the conservatory at breakfast watching the various birds at the feeders ... mostly in pairs now!
OG - more lovely photographs ... I particularly liked the one of the flying geese ... beautiful!
Thanks to all for chat etc
Take care.

Technical tip - bookmark menu folder, which opens many windows simultaneously. (EDIT).
Set up the tabs as shown in picture of Firefox 3.6 browser, should work with other browsers too.
I put them in a folder 'Ospreys' in the bookmark toolbar, at the top. (using the bookmarks menu)
I have chosen (personal choice, of what you put in)...blogs as follows, LotL, LG Daily, LG diary, Sightings, Rutland, Nestboxes,.....then others Roy Dennis, LotL cams 1,2, blog and Manton Webcam.
The LG nestcam is on my dektop as a shortcut, since I use it the most.
You will need to stretch your screen to see this easily. Clicking on it twice, once to put it in a window, then again for a larger, clearer image.
If anyone else wishes to show a setup, that would be nice to see other ideas.
That's better, now you can see 'Ospreys' it was hidden!

Hello Cirrus how did you manage to cut yourself so badly. Hope it is not too painful and I am also keeping my fingers crossed that PC can be sorted out for you.
Thank you Cirrus. I'm Patriciat on here - other places have other names!
