Morning all; dinner time here - well getting close - off to check the options; back to catch up later.
OG hope you are enjoying your birthday.
Hi to Diane and Annette - hope all is well with you both.
Winds have been high today but not as bad as up there in Scotland. Lady is still on her nest, having eaten a rather large fish. Looking round - can she see Laird on his favourite perch I wonder!!!!!!
EJ has flown off after hanging on in there for quite a while.More ospreys around at Blackwater and Shandy Point. Its happening all around but nothing beats our ladies.

What on earth is Hope doing to Faith or Jason - looks like she's throttling the poor wee thing but I'm sure she's not.
Meanwhile, Lady is still tucking into that fish - thought she'd eaten it all, but no.
Must go and finish off dinner, back later to catch up etc.
OG : I was very pleased to see that Dundee United lost 3 - 0 to Motherwell as they are "the enemy". Meanwhile Dundee FC remain undefeated in 23 league games.
Margo thanks for that it is really nice to be missed and yes I am fine. Had a brilliant time down South with daughters and visiting friends. Managed a trip to Arne and they were moaning about the lack of Ospreys passing through this year, low and behold the first blog from the boys when I got home was about a passing Osprey...just my luck.
Been quite hectic since I got home although I have been trying to catch up with all your news and news of EJ.VC opens tomorrow so the season will be well underway. Just a thought but wouldn't it be great if Odin made his presence known on opening day...but with the gale we are having today not likely.
Youngest is with me until next Thursday and we have managed a couple of good walks one being around loch Morlich. The last couple of days we have been to Inverness to the gym as the weather has been really damp. Girly shopping after gym today and we both had one of those treatments where the fish nibble the skin on your feet to help keep them smooth. It has made a difference but not sure if it will be repeated but it just had to be done.

Thanks, Alan, for clearing that up for me!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Oooh Wendy don't fancy the fish nibbling thing. What's it like?
Evening all. The cam doesn’t seem to like the wind, it keeps going off then on again (don’t think it’s my connection, nothing else going off). I was watching EJ since lunchtime, facing into the wind, but she’s given up now. She won’t be able to do that when she’s on eggs :((
Sheila, when I was talking to someone when I originally enquired about volunteering I said I would probably do a week, because then you get into it properly, but having seen the sheets with names in already I’m not sure now, will wait and see on Sunday’s induction for newbies. I live about 20 miles north of Keswick so it’s not too bad for travelling.
Chrisy, hi, perhaps I’ll see you this year!
Alicat, so glad to hear you have eaten and are recovering slightly. I know it’s difficult, I can still cry about how some of my cats went.
Happy Birthday OG! (See, I did get on here today!) Love your barnacle geese pic. What else is in the competition?
Lindy, great that Buzz has now forgiven you for leaving him and is not throwing up any more to punish you! And sorry Alan that Hamish is now not feeling so good. (LOL about “the enemy”, but not “the auld enemy”!)
Lynette, I always worry when I see Lily or Hope mouthing the cubs, but that must all be part of the play. I sometimes imagine someone getting friendly with them, thinking they were just being familiar, then getting their head bitten off...

I think Odin will arrive at 10.15 tomorrow morning!
Just looked in on the Roy Dennis site and Beatrice started the next stage yesterday morning after her stopover. Morven may have done today also as she's not been spotted in the same area as the last few days. It's amazing they even have the same rest areas along the way.
