hi dibnlib i have left you another message on your page
index thread
lg stats
I am having terrible finger trouble tonight so goodness knows where original posts are
ALICAT see your page, sorry long winded.
Is it Lady or is it not? Seems unlikely now but still hoping.
Now a conumdrum what is it with men and asking directions. We have been out and about a lot today and one of our trips was to find a place OH had to go for work. They had said Harbour Rd which is an industrial estate by the Fitness Club so we set off thinking we knew where we were going only to find that gym had closed and was now a sign shop. So we headed up this busy road again and down said road , then along this side road and that side road with me saying lets stop and ask at a shop. Would he heck, so up main raod again and down again and another side road and up main road again, a little further this time and I was definitely wishing I had stayed at home when we chanced upon the place he wanted. does anyone else have same problem?? Off now to watch a programme about people with sight difficulties and how they cope. This of course includes guide dogs which is the real reason I want to see it. Probably Goodnight from me, sleep tight everyone this side of the pond
GARY love the pics of toffee. Don't think she will be sitting on your lap much longer the way she is growing.
ALICAT posted on your page again
Alan has passed on official confirmation that it is indeed Lady at LOTL.
Dibnlib, I've never had a problem with men and directions........ lol
Very busy day, so now given up halfway through ironing – it was a bigger pile due to being able to dry things outside. Really clear sky, so a slight frost this morning, but later OH was able to rake and mow front and back grass – at last. Been sorting out photos for the competition –I have printed four, and will look at them tomorrow to decide which, if any, are good enough.
Thanks for posts today – here and elsewhere.
Diane and Joan – Owl nest sounds like high drama – don’t have time to watch that one, although I do love Owls – will maybe look in if less busy on a wet day!
AQ – obviously roadworks are the same the world over – there seems to be no “time and motion” or efficiency study done at all.
Annette – sounds like another lovely walk at the Lake of Sheep. Did you save me a scone – no cream? No mention of prizes in the comp – maybe it’s just for the kudos of winning!
Cirrus – so sorry to read about QW’s family sadnesses – thanks for letting us know.
Lindy – thanks for smiles! Sorry about Buzz – hope he has been okay since this morning. Pleased “Stella” rallied a little.
Brenda – safe travelling to the Wirral – hope all goes well with consultant, and enjoy the family visit.
Gary – good to see the lovely Toffee again.
Dibnlib – I find OH (also Son) thinks I can’t know anything about directions because I don’t drive! Other people say I give very clear directions, and it’s usually me who eventually navigates us when following directions – once I can get him to listen!
Will use a separate post for a photo or two from Mersehead yesterday.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Gary good to see TT again. She's grown so much already.
2 eggs at Hilton Head now.
Thanks for all the posts and pictures. I am not sure where today has gone. I won't be on here tomorrow but will be taking my laptop with me. There is just no way I could miss any news about EJ, and when Odin arrives. Then there Is all the good news about Lady's arrival today. I don't think my sister would be too happy if I took control of her computer.
Early start tomorrow. I will be doing all the driving as OH has a painful arm and shoulder. Just hope it is not a return of the frozen shoulder he had some years ago.
Take care. I am off to my bed.
