3: a.m. in UK. Dark at the nest - just setting this up while the iron heats up!
3:54 UK time: Before I get to the serious business of staring at an empty nest - lol - here's something from BigRab that he posted late last night on the Wednesday update. Barbara Jean suggested - brilliant, thank you BJ! - that we re-post it here since many of you may not see it otherwise. It's very clever and has great potential for creativity! Geez. Some of you may even be able to put something to verse!
FROM BIG RAB:
"Totally useless piece of information here, but all this talk of gremlins has got me thinking... hold on to your seats... Rothes, Mallachie, Garten... rearrange the letters and what have you got? LOTSA GREMLIN HEARTACHE!! We could be here a while if we start discussing other rearrangments - too late at night for me!"
:-)
5:10 in UK. Nest (without birds) just visible.
No one is on the nest.
On attribute the girls didn't inherit from their Dad is he an early riser. He was out fishing at the crack of dawn and delivered a fish well before 5 A. M.
They get up late and straggle over to the nest by 6 or 7 . LOL

6: a.m. in UK and not an osprey in sight.
Barbara Jean: Did you see Odin deliver a fish?
Well, I'm about to sign off and must say I didn't see a dicky bird (or even Odin) - I could barely make out the nest at 5'ish. Probably need to get my eyes checked! :-)
A couple of folks - Delia, Sue, and Rose were on Facebook, so if anyone shows up, they'll let us know.
Night all.
No Annette Odin didn't deliver a fish today.
I didn't phrase that right. What I meant was when they were all on the nest he always delivered a fish well before 5 a m He went out fishing at the crack of dawn and now they can barely fly a few feet to the nest until 7 am. or later.
No ospreys, no fish, empty nest: very boring view this morning. Hope Katie will send the gremlins away :-)
Maybe they all left
