Hi again to you all, i have not been on for a while, just watching!
Lynette, i think the little bird might be a female crossbill, i saw the same little bird the a male popped in too,

Hi Val, I haven't been on for a long time either, and I saw the two little birds too, I think you could be right about them, The male was very quick.

Hi Sugar, I was taking a look earlier when the crossbills were about. Wasn't 100% sure about the female, but when the male arrived it was unmistakable.
Thanks sugar and all, at least I can identify it now. Also Radio Chaffinch paid a visit.
Not sure what is going on with the sound - it could be rain plonking on the mike.
All quiet at present

Either that or the crossbills tap dancing on the mike :-)

I'm fairly sure I saw a couple Chaffinches carrying a bass drum, some toms, a high-hat, and a few cymbols of varying sizes a few minutes ago ;-)
I must admit that the soud of rain on the LG webcam has replaced rain on a tent as the most recognisable weather based sound in my life LOL.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.

So funny Heron77, how about rain hammering on a caravam roof with the seagulls tapdancing at the same time...this could run and run. Has EJ gone to roost for the night already?
I doubt EJ has gone to roost yet, jayceep. The rain has probably just diminished her vision for fishing a wee bit. So it probably takes her a little longer to catch something. Had to laugh at the rain on a caravan roof while seagulls tapdance at the same time. Brilliant! How about the sound of high wind intercepted by the sound of a ground sheet taking off on long-haul flight ;-)Paul.
