Evening all: Been out all day; now starting to think about dinner. Back later to catch up.
Well, been another hectic week. Been taking TT out for regular walks as well as exploring the woods around us. She decided to go swimming and loved it. Wasn't too sure about the jumping in out of her depth but she soon put that behind her:)
Trish 2, sounds very productive day.
Margobird, sorry you've been poorly. Hope you feel a little better. Billy Whiz couldn't have found a better place to make his home.
Patriciat, sorry about all the careers in your home. Will track back to find out what's happened (doesn't sound good)
Alan, thanks and congrats to Scotland winning today. She seems to be leaving the chair legs alone. We are trying to distract where we can.
SheliaFE, glad you got stuff done. Our snow has all gone. We had 8 inches of rain in a week, and higher temps. Apart from the resultant flooding , the thaw went well! We had a couple of nice days (15 or so) but back to normal now.
TerryM, glad you had a good shopping trip:) a TT in your house would work well I think..lol
Did not watch the rugby but this household is well pleased with the results. On another level Dundee continued their unbeaten run today.
Patricia, Well done, your's was the better team today. Wales have to beat France by a big margin to take the championship from England though.
Sorry, I can't hope to comment on everything everyone's doing (my fault) . Thanks for all the news and lovely photo's and captures.
Annette, many congrats on the new addition to the family:)))
Patriciat, just read about your OH's fall and subsequent problems. Very sorry to hear. Hope things improve as soon as possible.
So much news again.
Alan - thanks for the Glasslyn link.
Lovely pics of a magpie, and Miss Toffee - Gary she is adorable.
Some of you seem to have had days out and enjoyed theml.
Been a super day here, got all the washing dry. Been assembling a wheelbarrow planter -took me all afternoon. Made a right meal of it.
Will be back later, have to go and do supper.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
I do keep popping in to see what is going on, but can't keep up with it all, sorry !
Great to see the LG nestcam back on, a lot of HW needed there! Won't be long now before our favourite ospreys are back, time will have to be found to view webcams. The Eagles are wonderful too.
I must post this photo of a sweet Tawny owl, called Whisper, it was with some other owls at a local garden center. I saw them before but did not have my camera. I had this one on a glove for a while and stroked it - so soft .It is a shame to see the jesses, but they are rescued owls and the chap was very fond of them, - some he can let free but some could not fend for themselves. Showing them is educational and also raises money for them.
Have you all remembered to look at the moon? OH has been outside photographing it.
Thanks for the owl pic Chrisyb.
Just been witnessing some amazing co - operative behaviour at Hampton. The male eagle tears off a piece of fish and then gives it to the female who in turn feeds the chicks.

Yes I have been out to have a look. Yes it looks bright but one would be hard pressed to notice that it is any different from normal. I am pretty certain that no one would notice if one did not know it was at its closest.
Interestingly I once observed the opposite which was a solar eclipse with the moon very near perigee. Now that was very noticable as it gave a very long eclipse.
ChrisyB Love the picture of the owl.
Alan That is very interesting behaviour of the eagles.
Tiger Signature
Tiger, That is why I didn't comment. I was interested to hear what others thought though. It is bright but my comment to my OH was, " I am sure I have seen it look bigger ". It is only supposed to be 14% bigger though.
