I wonder if she will do a fly-around the Loch like she did last year as she leaves us!!?
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
Looks like an intruder alert, Laird was mantling but has now flown off and is copulating with Lady and off he goes again - obviously doing the bonding thing. So both are still around. Looks like he has gone over to his favourite tree.

Now Lady has flown off and into the trees.
Lovely close-up of Laird at 2:40pm.
Lady and Laird on nest 1707 :)
Lady is later leaving this year and it is new to us all to how she re-acts about migration after no hatchings but perhaps maybe today is not a good day to start migration. She certainly looks good and still expects Laird to feed her :) I will miss her but now I want her to leave in tip top condition and welcome her back next year. Fly away Lady and come back in March. godspeed to you. Oh that distinctive shouting I have just heard and no mistaking that.
I so wish lady a safe journey, bless her such asad year for her, but hopefully she will return next year, be safe special lady xx
The more you rush, the longer it takes
Thank you very much everyone who has posted updates recently and let us know that Lady and Laird are still around. I thought she would have gone by now but am grateful for any sightings as she is elderly and we don't know what 2012 will bring. I would also like to say that I live reasonably close to LOTL and there has been much less publicity about the LOTL nest in the local press this year. Of course the reserve will put that down to the lack of hatching on the nest but we know that there is much more to it than that in the world of multimedia which caters for osprey enthusiast in Scotland and all over the world.
Very windy up at Lowes this morning. Lady (I think) is on the nest with a part-eaten fish.
Just seen a wing flapping on bottom left-hand cam screen at 8am, most probably Lady.
