I come back and find Malachie STILL eating! Is this a new fish or the same one she was eating when I left?? Dearie me...
Oh, she's stopped. Either she's fallen asleep on the job or she's heard me complaining and is pretending she's not eating a fish. "What fish.....?" THAT fish Mallachie...the evidence is there for all to see. Haven't you head what Malcolm's been saying about Garten? Watch, he'll be saying the same about you too!
Oh...better look lively cos someone's threatening to pinch it....

Also on Diary, Maureen has info re that intruder - apparently was a ringed osprey back in Scotland for the first time since birth! Yeah!
Mallachie resumes eating after an eternity. Either she'd forgotten it was there or was just pretendng she didn't know she had it so she didn't earn herself the same reputation as her wee sister.
Someone joined Mallachie on the nest. Looked like EJ but I'm not sure. Didn't look like Garten but at the same time I'm not sure it looks like EJ. Whoever it was arrived with a fish. Confused....
They both stood motionless for ages but the "EJ" flew off with the fish.
Mallachie is now mantling like crazy.
Been away since early Thursday, so just had first look at web cam since then. Couldn't believe my eyes. How Mallachie has grown ! Garten looks fine too. I think I'm glad I missed out on the "War of the Intruders". It sounds very nerve-racking. Would just love another sight of EJ before she goes. What a fine mother she's been. Lets hope the kids and dad, of course, can keep the would-be squatters out.
Some are saying it was Odin visiting the nest. I didn't recognise him if it was. Hmmm....
Whoever it was they looked just as confused as me!
It doesn't look like Odin to me and I have since been studying your picture but I am often wrong. TF?
Haven't a clue Brenda. Would've thought she'd done a right song and dance if it was but she didn't.
Have you noticed that Mallachie has feathers sticking upwards to the side of her tracker? I keep mentally smoothing them down. Hope the tracker isn't pushing her feathers out of alignment.
