5:30 a.m. UK. LG cam still down. Fat little chick on Mrs. Hobby's nest, but no Mrs. Hobby right now. LOTL cam up; no birds on nest but they're not too far away. Good luck tomorrow with the LG cam folks!
Garten mantling, Rothes arrives back on the nest. Don't know if Garten is mantling over her fish because of Rothes or for another reason. She doesn't look happy. Rothes doesn't seem bothered.
Make the most of today because, unlike Sky+, there isn't a rewind button.
Poor Garten is having a terrible time tearing up that tough fish. Mallachie still waiting to grab it.

Can you imagine what that fish must be like by now? It's been pecked at, torn apart, trodden on and dragged around that stinking nest for much of the day. Ugh...give me spaghetti bolognaise any day!
Thanks BrendaH just seen your message. I had to go out for a while and have only just looked. Once again I seemed to have missed a lot of the action. Can't believe that fish lasted so long. Must have been one of EJ's.

I agree, she's been sleeping on her feet at the edge of the nest for the last wee while. She seems to be food calling at the moment.
Garten finally finished eating and walked away from what is left of the fish. Mallachie pounced on it to claim it. The problem is there is not much left except the skin that Garten couldn't tear up.
It was the look of disgust she gave it but obviously thought she may as well have a go as that's all that's on offer. I'm not sure if it's Rothes or Mallachie if I'm being honest. I thought it was Rothes.
I must say though that it's great that they've left the webcam zoomed in tonight. It usually zooms out long before now. Shhhh....I maybe shouldn't have said anything. Don't tell anyone....
Mallachie or Rothes are not having any more success with the tough skin of the fish than Garten did. EJ may need to intervene to assist them with her sharp beak . Imagine the frustration of being hungry with food in front of you and you can't tear it up to eat?
Light at LG is fading fast. There will be many sat on their patios with a large dram in their hand enjoying the sun slowly setting over the hills.
