Morning all: Here's to a good week for everyone. Check out latest pages of last week's thread to see great pix by OG of a kestrel on a road sign and a signpost for migrating birds and Gary's photos of the lovable Toffee plus his Toffee-proof technology. Just had dinner and managed to turn perfectly lovely piece of halibut into shoe leather! Hate it when that happens, but was busy watching weather forecast. Desk is looking cleaner - can actually see the surface now. Take care all!
Couldn't resist popping back while the bath's running.
It's bizarre she objects to a cold shower considering she' s absolutely addicted to playing in any water available on walks. She went in yesterday nearly to swimming depth waiting for us to throw something for her.
It's sleeting again now. Hope it doesn't snow much as I hate driving in it.
Afternoon all,
Linda : Thanks for the monday smiles.
Diane : The American Goldfinch is somewhat different from the ones we have here but colourful as well. I am also a fan of Primeval. I still have a couple of episodes of the latest series to watch.
Trish2: Hamish hates water of any kind.
Og : Nice pic of the Dunnock.
Thanks to everyone else for chat, pics etc. No idea where this morning went.
Weather is grim again today. Dreich and dismal and temp around 4c again. Cant remember the last time the sun shone. Dry at the moment but light rain forecast for later this afternoon so I had better take the Thunderdog out.
Screenshot of Peregrine on the Appio & Vergine cam. Unfortunately the bird has gone now:
TRISH cold water only for Dillon. I better not tell him about your arrangement!!!!!!!! otherwise he will want to move in with you as he does like his home comforts ie his own double bed.
Visited Made in Beauly this am and had Cullen Skink and their speciality cheese scones, how naughty

Good afternoon Alan thanks for today's osprey pic and also the peregrine capture.
Hope it stayed dry for your walk with Hamish.
OH has just phoned me while waiting for his train from Glasgow and it is snowing there and only 1 degree. Not as cold as that here so he will think he is arriving home in a heat wave.
Trish 2 I do hope the sleet doesn't turn to snow and you have a safe journey home.
OH loves all the travelling he does with his job and fortunately he is in a job he absolutely loves. The best job he has ever had he says. The firm he works for started off as a small concern but has grown over the past 2 years. They believe in going to see clients at their premises rather than the client coming to the office and it seems to work very well. I think he will probably have to work sometime over next weekend to catch up with things.
OH is on his way back now but won't get home until around 10.30 tonight but at least he will be home. He is back to wrork tomorrow so I imagine he is going to feel pretty tired by the end of Tuesday. Fortunately he doesn't need a lot of sleep, 6 hours suits him quite well unlike me who needs 8 hours.
