HE STOLE HER FISH !! She tried to  dive bomb him but he won and  flew away with it.  She flew after him, 

Where  did Garten go? Please tell me she at least left with the fish.  In opening up the blog I didn't see her leave the nest.   I've got to go out now. Won't be back until late so I do so hope some kind soul will keep the blog going for me to read when I get home. My heart goes out to Garten, she's had a really really tough day. Don't tell Karen ! (Garten is her favourite :)   )

I can't be certain who left with the fish. Paula, we need one of your replays please. I just hope Garten is alright as. that seemed to be quite an attack by the intruder.

For what it is worth, I thought Garten left with the fish

Sorry, I was off having my tea. The webcam had crashed when I got back...and there was that intruder back on the nest. Am away to see if the video recorded ok. Nope, it didn't. There's nothing after Garten started mantling.

Poor Garten :'-(

Thanks Paula. I thought Garten hung on to the fish but didn't like to see how the intruder attacked.

A tagged chick on the nest at the minute. There were two but the other flew off a couple of minutes ago. Couldn't ID either of them. My webcam keeps crashing.

Thank you very much Paula. Saw what I thought was the intruder back on the nest but couldn't  identfy the other bird. Won't be happy untill I see Garten again.

It's all happening at Chez LG again. No peace for the wicked eh?

EJ mantling with a chick lying down on the nest. Apparently EJ brought in a fish which was taken immediately.

It looks like Garten is on the nest now and she looks OK . She is food calling . Maybe in her  hasty retreat she dropped her  fish
